A simply stunning Banham Monarch. Highly maintained and much loved by her current owner - a fantastic opportunity to purchase a classic Broads cruiser. At 43ft she is believed to be the largest Banham in existence. Built in 1938 by Banhams of Horning and Cambridge, a firm who enjoyed an enviable reputation for building quality boats, which has proved to be true. Three Monarch class boats were built and Broads Authority records show this Monard (B612) to be Monarch II. Unfortunately, the whereabouts of I and III are unknown. Internally Monarch has been redesigned over the years and now offers spacious accommodation for 4+2. Behind the wheelhouse boats two cabins with master cabin with small double berth and a further twin berth cabin. Separate heads compartment with shower and electric heads. The well equipped galley is situated in the bow and features a full size oven with grill and hob, two 110 litre 12v fridges, excellent storage, LED lighting, sink and drainer. Additional heads compartment with electric head. Saloon with free standing furniture and banquette which converts to a further double berth. The BMC 2.2 diesel engine which has been regularly serviced and maintained is located in the raised wheelhouse. Full instrumentation at the helm including battery bank condition and toilet tank gauge. Being offered with Valiant D270 Rib in excellent condition and Minnkota Endura 12 (50v thrust) outboard.
