2014 Horning Boat Show A Huge Success
An Incredibly Busy Day & A Sale!
It's almost a week since the 2014 Horning Boat Show took place and BYB has been busier than ever. The show was a huge success not only in terms of visitors, which exceeded the previous year's inaugural event, but we sold a boat on the day, assisted with many enquiries regarding our brokerage boats as well as receiving instructions to list a variety of new boats in the coming weeks.
Despite the sun not shining as it had a year earlier, visitors flocked to view the boats and many stands on show. BYB was extremely pleased to exhibit four boats on the stand with the Sheerline 1070 Diamond "Isadora" and "Pipsqueak" the GRP Electric launch in the water, whilst there was a Frolic and Corsiva 470 Classic on trailers. All of them attracted a lot of attention and were definite crowd pleasers. We had details on the stand of over 100 new and used boats for visitors to take away with them and dealt with many new enquiries. Infact over this last week alone the number of telephone and email enquiries we have received as a result of the show has been overwhelming.
The Boat Show was a great way to meet up with new customers, many who had been personally referred to us and told us that we came "highly recommended" - what great feedback!. We were also delighted with the number of old customers who came to say hello and regail us of their stories of life afloat with their new boats. It is highly satisfying to know that, not only are they pleased with the service that the received but also that we helped them make the right choice of boat.
The event came just a day after our announcement as agents to Belaugh Boatyard and BYB offering the new build Frolic. She was a fine sight on the stand, drawing many admiring glances and comments and thanks to Rob Marriott from Belaugh Boatyard for all his help and being with us for the duration.
So much time and effort goes into events like this from everyone involved that it is incredibly rewarding when the day is such a success for all involved.
See you next year!
